GPL F2 question

Well, I finally got around to looking at the F2's last night.  After having
done a couple of F3 races online and seeing some F2 races listed on GSB, I
figured F2's might be a sweet spot for online; closer competion than F1's, but
not as slow as the F3's. Hmmm; better do some setups.  With drafting battles in
mind, I tried Monza first.  And much to my surprise, the AI (Pro level) just
kill you on straightaway speed, even matching car brands(I know about the
Brabham's advantage) and exit speed.  Coming out of Ascari in my Lotus right on
Hill's tail, he just pulls away down the straight, unlike F1's.  And watching
other cars close up in the mirrors from way back is just depressing.  My max
down into Parabolica is about 169, where the other Loti are doing 175-176.
I've tweaked the gearing, toe, and tire pressure all around, but no more speed
seems to be there.

The question part(finally:-)):  Is this just life with the F2's?  Or am I
missing something?

TIA,

Steve B.

I've found the same... although at other tracks it's different.
Silverstone and Zandvoort are brilliant. I've had some tremendous races
since trying the F2s seriously for the first time a few days ago.

Thanks Graeme.  Must be something with the LP files.  Maybe if I use helium in
the tires....

Cheers,
