Trustmaster Nascar Super Sport Question.

Does any one have any experience with this wheel?
How are the pedals? I've seen this wheel for a cheap price, and I was
wondering if it is any good.
The games I would use it for:
GPL
F1RS2 (MGPRS)
NFS3
CMR
Rally99 (when it comes out).

I have had the THRUSTMASTER NASCAR SUPER SPORT wheel and pedal set for
about 3 months now and am VERY pleased with it! Prior to purchasing the
SUPER SPORT I had the THRUSTMASTER T2 wheel and pedal set but ended up
breaking the shift knob so that the damn thing wouldn't upshift. I gave
the T2 to my brother then went shopping for a new controller. I found
the NASCAR SUPER SPORT wheel and pedals at a really good price, and at
first was a little skeptical of it because it was so cheap. I decided to
risk the purchase, and can honestly tell you that it is the best
controller I have ever had.

It's pretty sturdy and mounts easily. I don't know if you have had a
chance to hold it or not, so I will just let you know that the wheel
itself has 4 buttons on the front of it (2 on the left and 2 on the
right) that you can access easily with your thumbs while driving. The
best part though is the gearshift design. Located on the back of the
wheel are 2 paddles (1 on the left and 1 on the right) which you pull on
to shift up and down just like the real thing a'la FORMULA 1. The other
big thing that the NASCAR SUPER SPORT has over the T2 wheel is that
because of the locations of the SUPER SPORT's buttons and shift paddles,
you never have to take a hand off the wheel. I am totally ***ed to
COLIN McRAE RALLY, and the SUPER SPORT kicks ass!

The pedals are sturdy as well, with a narrow gas pedal and a wider
brake pedal just like a real car. I absolutely recommend this wheel and
pedal setup!

        Hope this helps you out!

I too, have had a lot of good luck with my supersport wheel, with only 1
failure in 6 mos. the clamp adjusting***failed but was easily repaired
with no subsequent failures.....the wheel itself is kinda cheesy- lot's of
play where wheel connects to shaft, but in use it's great, I picked up
several seconds at most tracks in the games I play....GPL and
N2.....compared to my joystick.Paid $75 in New Jersey, and feel it was money
well spent, and I'm a tightwad.

Great wheel and even better pedals.  The pedals on this unit are the
most precise I have experienced (for a games controller that is <G>).
It should work in any Windows based game that will recognize 2
joysticks.  It will not work on any pure DOS game that will not
recognize the pedals as being on separate axes.  It is however possible
to set the pedals to the same axis or separate in Windows for any
Windows program that uses Direct Input.
