Network Racing?

by Brian McLerno » Mon, 05 Nov 2001 08:51:44

Hi,
I just got my 2 computers networked through a router and everything
works great.  Now, my next step is to get my sims, N4, Heat, F1 2K1, N3, GPL
set up to be able to race against my buddies, here in my home.  Could
someone point me to a website that explains how to do this or just email me
a how to?  I did a ng search on Google and came up dry.  Here's a great site
by some flyboys for info on simple networking that helped me tremendously!
:)

Thanks,

If the two computers can see each other in network neighborhood, just fire
up the s/w on both pc's, and host on one and join on the other.

Biz, thanks for responding.  So, both computers need to be setup to run the
sims all by themselves, ie: sim software, drivers, etc.?  Cool, I'll give it
a go!

Yes, you also have to have 2 copies of each sim, one installed on each
computer>  How else did you think you played on 2 networked pc's?
