Fair enough - too used to GPL. :-)
I do hope though that the final version has an option to enable driver
hands. It looks rather spooky at the moment, with some 'ethereal force'
turning the wheel... ;-)

I'm sure it won't, as there has been no mention of it from the
developers (as far as I know, of course). And I think they should
leave it well alone. From what I've seen of the***pit, it rocks!

And I agree with your opinion on the wheel moving without any obvious input!

This looks good?? More like "bumper cars" to me. It has that
interesting arcade effect that when you hit someone from behind, it
bounces them forward. In general, this whole sequence of banging wheels
with the opponent is hardly a "realistic" model either from the physics
or racing simulation standpoint. I hope that this was done on the
absolute lowest realism setting and that the final game will have
higher settings available (in real life, if any two cars touch at all
it is likely that both will be out of the race!).
If I sound grouchy today, maybe it's because I see too much of a trend
toward eye candy over game play in almost every genre of computer game
recently. Who has time to appreciate the scenery when you're trying to
drive an F1 car :-)?
