1. Do you feel the physics are realistic? (Not concerned with graphics and
sound.)

2. Are you using force feedback?

As realistic as anything else.

Yes, I use FF, but it could be better.

Compared to GP3, F12000 and F1CS2000, yes.  Compared to GPL, no.

Yes - it's quite good actually.

If we're just talking physics it is unfair in this case, agreed.

The best physics there are- are in GPL and N4

It's a simple case of comparing one product with the best in it's class.

Not Nonsense at all

We are talking about racing physics and dynamics David.  It's nothing to be
biased about, just a fact.  Unless you can prove it wrong, of course :)

You know Doug many who have a "slot-car" mentality for their idea
of true physics might think that GPL is "nonsense" as it is too hard :)

I have an interesting (to me, anyway) idea. I need more answers before I
reveal it. I want non biased answers.

How can you say how realistic the physics are by comparing to other sims?
That
is more a measure of how simulistic they are! You should compare to reality.

For example, one thing that I find is not so realistic is that with FF on,
the wheel still returns to center when the car is stationary. It should only
do so when the car is moving. I admit this is not the most important aspect
though.

Hmmm. Do you have "return to center" switched on?

I remember one guy saying how GPL's physics were so realistic because if you
turned the wheel all the way to one side while stationary, and then
accelerated, the wheel would return to center.

I mentioned F1RC did the same thing, but he never replied for some reason.

When was the last time you drove a modern F1 car then?

Are you saying that GPL physics are entirely innacurate?

Are you saying that N4 and GPL do NOT share the best physics engine there
is?

And as for saying that it's nonesense as it's too hard. That's pure
bullshit.  Driving a '67 F1 car was not a walk in the park - and thus
simulations thereof should not be either
