In the demo, I'm successfully passing the AI on the outside.
How about in multiplayer? Is the high lane better compared to N2002?

I'm guessing there will be less yellows with this Nascar release, as the
cars seem less prone to do pirouettes.

Yeah, I noticed that if you tangle with someone and they start to spin in
front of you, they don't all of a sudden appear at a 90 deg angle in front
of you like they did in NR2002.  I was actually able to watch the car slowly
rotate in front of me, and I was able to feather the pedals and steer
around.  I had my right front into his door, barely, and his car just slowly
rotated around the nose of my car, just like you see on TV.

It was really quite cool :)

Of all the changes IMO the car to car contact is the biggest improvement.
Now you actually have a chance to save the car if it gets outta shape. In
the demo I was beating and banging with an AI car and we went off the track
onto the apron and back and neither one of us lost it. Made me think back to
Eddie Cheaver and Dale Sr. in the IROC race.

The only down side is so far it has not translated well to online, but I
think that has more to do with warp than anything. I can't wait till I get
my ba***t done, LAN party!

I'm not a young pup anymore.  That and a certain sleeping disorder means
I rarely drive any great distance alone anymore.  :(

Believe me, I did not do it by choice, and I too have 'aged' to the point
where I'd rather not try again :)
