is there anyone to let know about a serious problem with TCP/IP racing that
isn't going to just tell me "it's your connection" ? I have a doozy of a
bug report that apparently nobody else in the world ever experiences....
...sadly there are no official rumors regarding the patch...

that's the one... I've been told it's due to connection, but I just can't
see that being the case as it's too perfect and consistant - not on LAN
(never have tried it on a LAN, probably same) but on internet with TCP/IP
and the exact same problem over a modem to modem using N2....
figures... thanx, tho'

If you have only 2 cars (no AI) the 2nd car's pit stall is moved down pit
road a ways.
It's possible that when someone else joined there was a different number of
users at that time, and therefore different parameters used in the
computation of your pit stall location. So it's quite possible for 2 cars
to end up appearing to have the same pit stall location.
If they used a fixed location for all pit stalls (or assume a full field)
then with only 3 cars, they would be jammed close together, and the middle
car would be at a significant disadvantage.
