Where can I race on line?

Where oh where can I race Nascar2 online? TEN is STILL not set up and it
seems Papyrus and Sierra are dragging their feet. I'm even willing to
direct dial like I did with Hawaii and Nascar1. I just tried to get on
Hawaii again but it dies everytime creating my account when it gets to the
State.

Bob...  I'm new to Hawaii, too, and I also had that problem...it would
always hang on State.... I was about ready to re-download the file...
but tried it again the next day with no troubles... Maybe it has
something to do with the hours ? I don't know, but when Miine worked, it
was around 3pm or so, EST, as I recall. someone else suggested
downloading it again. you may have to do that. and as far as Online
racing goes... I know you can do it on Kali.

I just tried again (3:45p est) and  it failed. I lowered my port speed to
9600 and got the BBS instead. ???? I don't know and don't know how to get
help.

to maybe re download the file and try again. By this time, it had
already worked for me, though. by the way, if you got the bbs, somewhere
on there is a readme saying, "if this is the only thing you got..."
I think it tells you what to do... or who to contact. I hope you get on,
because every time I go on, lately, there just isn't anyone else there .
I wonder if it has to be in the week, instead of the weekend ? I just
don't know. I remember it being quite frustrating for me, as I tried
about twelve times over three days, before it worked... good luck !

Try Kali.  I use Kali when I race Online.  It will cost $20 for the
software and membership, but that's all you will pay for life.  It works OK,
sometimes there is some warp, but it's still better than paying huge phone
bills.  I think you can get it at:  http://www.kali.com  If not do a search
for Kali.

Where can I race on line?

Hey Bob, and anyone else interested.  HEAT is the answer.  No that's not
just their tag line, I've tried it and it works great.  HEAT allows you
to play any IPX game over the Internet and Nascar2 functions fine.
Granted this was in a two player game buy 2 is better than no one.  With
other computer cars things worked fine and it was a blast.  I blew the
doors off my pal at Bristol, C***te and Michigan.  There was very
little lag, in fact it was unnoticeable.  The nice thing is you can play
any IPX game so if you're into Warcraft, or Quake or whatever, you can
try it out.  The perimeter membership is free and all you have to do is
go to http://www.racesimcentral.net/;Sign up and go racin!
