Can anyone tell me if Nascar2 will run on a 486, 25MHz computer with
12 meg of ram without any problems????
Thanks in advance.

Minimum requirements (according to marketing): 486/66, 16MB, Digital
Soundcard, Mouse, 2x CD-ROM.
Realistically, you'd even need a pretty damn fast 486/66 and a good
video card to enjoy the game. For all practical purposes, I wouldn't
recommend the game to anyone who doesn't have a Pentium machine.

What i do know is that it does work with a 486Dx2 50 Mhz with 16 mb of ram.
Lower i would be perculers. Maybe yes, and maybe no for it to wrok. If it
will it will be extremly have a low FPS to like5 or so. It a big risk.
Check with Papy. They should know. This is all I can give you as low of my
experience. On that Computer the rate was about 10-14fps.

If you have a 486/66 or better 486, get it anyway. Nothing more will
motivate you to upgrade your machine.
It runs OK/driveable in lo-res with only grass/asphalt turned off on a
486dx4/100 (about 15 fps to me is driveable) and I can still get a ton of
enjoyment out of the game. Hi-res on a 486? Forget it.
What's a 486?

A 486 is a type of processor for IBM compatible computers. It is slower
than a Pentium (also known as a 586), but faster than a 386.

You need a 486x100 I think, but I know you need 16 meg for it to run.
