I have a Force RS and Shifter which I got this week and am in
the UK.  I got my wheel direct from Act Labs via their website
although this was my second attempt at getting the wheel.

The first Force RS I had I bought from a company called Software
First.  I ordered it on 5th June.  The wheel arrived on 12th
June.  Unfortunately, they supplied me with a wheel with a
European power supply.  I was then supplied with a travel
adapter for the the power supply which I was very unhappy
about.   Also, on speaking to my local trading standards I found
that this was illegal.  They were then unable to provide me with
a timescale as to when I would receive a UK power supply.  Since
I found this to be unacceptable I rejected the wheel as unusable
and returned it to them and cancelled my order.  After returning
the wheel, the shifter arrived which I promptly returned.

I then placed an order direct with Act Labs on their website on
15th June.  I ordered the wheel at lunchtime (UK time) and
received a confirmation e-mail that the order was being
despatched by late evening.  My wheel and shifter were delivered
on 20th June with the correct power supply!

My experiences demonstrate both the good and bad things that can
happen when shopping online.  I was very unhappy with the
service I received both from Software First and their suppliers
Dragonfly Interactive.  On the other hand, I have been very
happy with the service I have received direct from Act Labs.
Although it is more expensive to buy from direct from Act Labs,
they supply what you order on time.

Others may have had good experiences with Software First but I
didn't.  If you decide to buy a Force RS I can think of no
reason not to buy direct from Act Labs.

Cheers

Phil

Did yours ship in two separate packages?
Did they arrive on the same day?

Thanks.

I got two seperate boxes which were delivered at the same time by Parcel
Force, who presumably have a deal with German Parcel, the delivery company
mentioned on the Act Labs website.  A consignment record was attached to the
shifter box listing both the shifter and wheel.  The boxes also has 1 of 2
and 2 of 2 labels on them.  You should check yours and make sure it hasn;t
got lost with Parcel Force.

Hope your wheel arrives soon.

I ordered the wheel and shifter off the ACT Labs website, no
hitches, everything turned up, and I had updates from the orders dept to
advise on delivery times. Can't complain at all.

It came with independent paddles and both serial and USB connection but
unfortunately no British plug.  Good luck if you decide to buy from them.
