Two more tips that will really help get your lap times down. Use manual
shifting and use it well!!! Also be sure to drive in the F3 or Xray mode
this will help you better judge how close you can cut the apex, and will
also help the sensastion of speed!

Once again keep those records falling

Er...Not exactly, mate.<g>...MGI granted TSP the same wish, and said I could
download the new version at avault.com!  Whoops!  =P

Cheers!

Here's an easy way to run reverse (sorry if this info's been posted before):

Using Notepad, open the options.cfg file in the Viper directory, and change the two lines
that read "reverse = no" to "reverse = yes"

Cheers!

while looking through the options.cfg file i also noticed lines which read
time of day, and weather....  was it already released that there would be
night time driving and weather in the game???

They may have mentioned working on this, but the Alphas don't have this
feature.  I doubt
(at this late stage) it'll make it in.

What lines do I need to edit in the options.cfg file to drive more laps?
-safe doesnt work with demo 2.2  Also, can test laps for setups count as
hotlap times?

I use the keyboard and my best time so far is 1:00.59s. In my opinion, the most
critical part of the race is the first sharp right turn near the lake. Slow down
and turn early to come up as far along the turn as possible. I must say that with
the keyboard the 58.73 setup by Troy is very difficult, it consistently starts to
spin after the second sharp right by the lake and correction slows you down.
Also, I preordered the game as soon as I got the demo (at $30 how could I resist)
and now the Sierra web site says the game is back ordered. Does this mean they
have started production and have already sold all production up to the release
date?
