Good god, I don't see what all the hype over Crazy Taxi was/is--it's pure shit compared to GTA3...and most driving games, in fact.

A better game (visually anyway) I'd like to see ported to the PC is Shenmue.

up:

crazy taxi is a laugh, true its quirky but it must've been a good idea
otherwise dma wouldnt have nicked it for gta3 ;)

if you want a pc port of shenmue then you definitely want teh sequel
ported too as its way better. of course, if you live in america
chances are you havent seen it yet since m$ signed an exclusivity deal
with sega so shenmue 2 would only be released on xbox in the states.

Crazy Taxi is stupid and obnoxiously immature. I didn't find it funny at all. The crappy vehicle control, way-too-wide field-of-view (like The Italian Job has), and fixed camera (no zoom levels or rotation or anything) make it a chore to play.

Wierd, I've found that GTA3 plays exactly like GTA (original) except in 3d.
Taxi who? again?

cheers

yeah, crazy taxi was only really any good for a quick game in the arcade,
didnt really translate well onto home machines...

Crazy Taxi was much more fun arcade than console, IMO.
