Netherlands to host F1 GP?
The Dutch circuit of Zandvoort has been ordered to do some extensive
alterations in order to meet the standards for a Formula One Grand Prix.
The circuit is already working to make the track ready for a F1 Grand
Prix, but Ecclestone has proposed more changes to the track. The Formula
One 'boss' wants to make alterations in the Hugenholtz hairpin, he wants
to it to be demolished in order to make room for a modern F1 paddock.
The extensive alterations are said to begin this month and it will make
the current circuit 0.013 miles longer and it is estimated to be finished
by March 1999. A spokesman of the circuit said they will do everything to
get a F1 Grand Prix.
