Will F1200 run ok on a P3-450 w/128Mb ram and a Voodoo 3?  Im sure I would
have to turn things down.

     Thanks

Yep, runs so so on my Celeron 300a running at 464 mhz, 128 mb ram, and V3000
card. I do have to turn a good bit of detail down. At least you can grow
into it.

Runs well on mine (P3-450 w/128Mb ram 2x Voodoo2 SLI). I run 640x480 with
most stuff on and no mip-mapping. Quite a bit of slowdown at the start of a
race, but otherwise ok.

Having a V3 I think you won't have to pass on eye-candy much at 800x600.

Make sure you get the v1.09 patch though... makes all the difference in the
world.

I have an AMD K6-2 400 with 64 MB of RAM and a 16 MB Voodoo Banshee
video card -- F12K runs nicely at 1024x768 with some detail cut back
and the mirrors disabled.  I have gone to great lengths to "tweak and
tune" my Banshee's performance, and it's paid off -- I can run quick
races with a full field just fine (I average between 18-30 fps during a
race).  You MUST have the game set to do the formation (or parade?)
lap, though -- this loads in a lot of graphics and makes for smoother
starts.

Your system should work fine.
