When do they pit? F1RS

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to see when the leaders pit
in a race and what type of tyres and fuel they bring on. I''ve come up
empty. Anyone have any ideas?

On this note, it seems to me that when running 100% race distance Grand Prix
(in F1RS) that the computer cars all seem to opt for a single stop strategy.
This may be my imagination, but it sure was the case in the last Australia
race that I ran. On my two stop strategy I was running rings around the
opposition, even though the top teams were quite a bit faster than me in the
warmups and in qualifying (on the medium difficulty). I can only assume that
they were loaded down with fuel.

I'm not sure of that.  Seems that they take very different fuel loads.  Before
the race starts, quickly page-up/down and see as many cars as you can (or if
you don't plan on racing, do it at your leisure).  You'll see widely disparate
fuel loads.  I'm pretty sure that there is a mix of one and two stop
strategies.  Also, they tend to pit with about a 5-10 liter reserve (from
memory).  So you can usually guess which lap they'll pit within one or two.
And then check them leaving the pits for the fuel load they filled to.

The easiest way to find out what's there pit strategy is actually watch a
race.
All you need to do is either run out of fuel in the 1st few laps, or crash real
bad. The game will ask you to either withdraw or watch from realisator mode.
Choose this one, then by hitting F2 key, and doing PG/UP PG/DOWN, you 'll see
how different each team/drivers runs.

Have fun, Eric
