What is the name of the file at the Microprose ftp site for the F1GP 1.05
update? I had the 1.04 patch at one time but can't find the disc. I had
to take F1GP off my hard drive to load NASCAR and now have a larger hard
drive so my husband asked me to put F1GP back on. When I did I don't have
any sound. I seem to remember that the 1.04 patch helped with this and
suspect the 1.05 will do the same. I've looked at the site but can't
determine which file I want.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know the sites, what is the name of the file? Apparently it's not
gp105.zip or f1gp105.zip.  It must have an obscure name because I can't
find it. Thanks for any suggestions.

The file you want depends on your location, so:

USA   : f1gpus.zip
Europe: f1gpe.zip
Italy : f1gpit.zip

Haven't had much luck connecting to the Microprose ftp site
lately. It's either too crowded or the user limit is set real
low.

You can get the patch from nic.funet.fi instead. The patch is
located at pub/msdos/games/patches/f105ptci.zip.
