Due to a problem with the host of Legends Central the forums have been taken
offline. Apparently we are breaching the terms and conditions of our host by
running cgi scripts which are putting too much load on the server.

This problem may take some time to resolve and may require a new host to be
found.

Hope they sort something out soon!

Thanks for posting the bad news Rob.  I was at work when I found out so I
couldn't post it here myself.  I am currently pursuing a cople of offers I
have had to host LC and will post here as soon as I can with more news.

Hi Phil,
What sad news this is. LC has been my hompage since I became a member back
in April, (seems so long ago!), and I, like many others, have made loads of
friends there. Please, please, try and get it up and running again. Thanks
for all your hard work. I know you will be trying your best.

I suggest you change to vBulletin systems.
More and more hosts don't allow scripts like UBB

Btw, what is the advantage of this software (web bulletin board in
general) over NNTP servers?
Aren't NNTP is less resource consuming? Or nobody offers to host NNTP?
