N2 Cars to N99

by L. Andre Min » Sun, 13 Dec 1998 04:00:00

Hi All...

I know there's a way... but I haven't figured it out yet. I moved the
N99-supplied cars to the empty "nolicen" file, and replaced them with my
'98 IWCCCars (from N2) into the N99\Cars folder. After launching N99, I
went to the Driver Info page... and N99 told me it couldn't find data
for the cars.  How do I get N99 to recognize the N2 cars?

Thanks in advance...

Sounds like the currently selected entry list is still looking for the
old files.

The problem is that the game is looking for the cars on the selected enrty
list. Put the game supplied cars back into the regular folder, plus the entry
list you used in N2. Go into drivers info and select your entry list for the N2
cars. Now you can exit out and remove the N99 cars. Hope this makes some sense.
On a side note, I used to be a huge IWCCCARS fan back before the guys all left.

Now I only use cars from http://members.aol.com/StrmMtrgrp/Main.html

If you haven't tried them lately, believe me they are worth a look.
