Attention Hard core Simmers !

Has anyone considered deleting N2 to make room for other programs?

I'm not on ten and NROS yet.....and I'm assuming that I need N2 for Ten ! ?

In a certain way... with NR99 you don't need N2 anymore.  The essential
files for the NROS on TEN are situated on your NR99 CD in the NROS section.
It's basically N2 without offline enablers (nascar2.exe).  If you use any

the will only convert based on N2 for the moment.

Still, you have N2 probably on a CD ROM (well hopefully), so delete N2 if
you want.  With NR99 you can add the old tracks such as North Wilkesboro,
Pocono, Atlanta or even Sears Point without the Nascar Racing 2 CD-Rom.  ;)

I havent even deleted NASCAR 1 yet!!!   I got the Rolex/24hrs carset from Late
Apex Racing and its very good.  I reccomend it if you still have N1 just to see
what its like.

Well Tim, there are elements of each that I like, but...isn't that why they
made CD-RW's for?  :P

No...

The N1999 CD has everything you need to race on TEN.

One thing - You cannot run NROS offline.  You have to be connected.  For
this reason, you might want keep N2 installed for offline practice and
racing setup.

The patch gives you the opportunity to drive NASCAR racecars from 1971 and a
driver list with some of the most famous drivers in NASCAR. It also adds
some of the tracks that once were used.

But it only makes sense if you have the BGN extension installed as it is
needed for most of the tracks.

Personally, I don't think that this patch is a good reason not to have N99
installed. It will entertain you for a couple of days, but as the car
physics aren't really those of a 70's racecar it's not that big of a must
have. But this of course reflects only my personal opinion, and as the
upgrade is free you should give it a try.
