SBK2000 Vs. Gp500

I'm not staying online for 26 races (13 rounds) stright any way.

Small point.  Nothing I could really care about.

Kinda a pain in the ass.  I've gotten over it and perfer practicing with others
on track (good way to see what your doing wrong if you have the chance to follow
an AI)

Yeah... dunno why they removed this.  Maybe cause the simplified the setups.
Dunno.  That's another thing I wish they didn't do.  I was just fine with it the
other way.

I've felt it.  But it's not like if you were on a real bike you'd have tyre
ware\temp indicators.

Handeling is a huge thing, and a good change.  Way more realistic.  I'm happy
with both, and I like the improvements in sbk2000 over sbk.  Even with the
downfalls on top.

I wouldn't either. I play it a lot on a LAN though. (It's the only way me
and my biking buddies stay sane in the snowy winter!) The previous version
rarely used to survive for more than a few races before a network connection
problem though. Could've been much improved with a save-able multiplayer
championship or the ability to recover to the start of the last race in the
event of a comms failure. Instead they just ditch the whole feature.

Getting together and playing on the LAN made this quite a big point between
my friends. I think the ability to merge connected PC's lap records would've
added to the rivalry also.

True. It's not the indicators I miss though. I thought they'd done away with
the different temps altogether, though people have commented that they've
felt the difference.

Si.
