Missed last weeks RASCAR race and must have missed the posts about it.
Web site does not have the results posted yet so I am just wondering
what happend.  Did all the GPL guys whoop up on everyone at The Glen?
Are we racing this weekend?  What tracks?

Wilch reminds me...

I just re-viewed the replay again and although I'm not sure I'm 100% to
blame... I'm willing to say that it looks like we both wanted the same piece
of tramac, and that seeing I was the faster driver it was my responsibility
to make ta clean pass...  Alas:

Sorry Dave!

(Having said that though, I also reviewed the incident from Dave's***pit -
and I cannot understand how he "dared" to move left with my car being so
close in the mirror.. - I'm pretty sure I would have yieled in the same
situation.)

Anyway good races last week IMO, shame the both ended crappy for me... :-(

you made me curious and so I watched the replay too, and was most surprised
to see that the incident hadn't happened out of a corner, but in the middle
of the s/f straight, with DGF going steadily in a straight line and you
turning right into him to avoid the grass to the left of the pavement!? Or
was I watching the wrong incident :-)

No hard feelings please, but DGF's share of guilt in this incident is 0.0%

I only drove the Glen race, but that one was AAMOF quite a good race from
everyone.

It started with an excellent clean passage through T1 and continued for 17
laps without yellows.

A yellow flew in lap 17 when AFAI could see one car flew into the sandtrap
at T1 all by itself and without being a menace to anyone else - a clear
mistake from the race stewards :-)

A second yellow flew afterwards in lap 20 or 21 I think, due to an accident
on the front straight I think. We finished under yellow.

Still, a good race with only two yellows and a most graceful F1-passage :-)

Nobody's having a go at Ed - I was just utterly impressed by the level of
creative energy that had flown into Ed's interpretation :-)

The replay is my local one which may not be entirely correct <g> but I think
it is :-)

We're not having a go at Ed ???

Then what fun is this then ?

One of the few things that keeps me coming back to this place after all
these years is the chance to have a go at Ed, or John....or whoever
happens to be around....oh well, I'll look at the replay and get back at
you...I mean, get back to you

Ed is a wrecker, please add him to the ignore list......

Would have loved to see Ed's or the server's replay of this incident
though, that looks very suspicious
