Momo w/ F12002 vibrations??

Hey gang,

Y'all helped me about a week ago tweak my Momo settings for F12002, and it feels much better. One of the big differences was the suggestion to turn off the self centering spring.
I mentioned at the time I had a lot of vibration in the wheel around the neutral position, both when idling and when driving. Turning of the spring seems to have helped, but I still have a good bit of vibration in the wheel around neutral - almost like I can hear grinding noises. I have it set at like -80% and the FF effects on high.
Do other Momo owners experience this vibrating around neutral? I don't have that problem in N2002. It sounds almost like there is something loose in there.

hehe, thats a part of the F1 2002 Forcefeedback.
engine-idle or something.. you feel the engines vibration thru the wheel.
You can turn it off in your .plr file

Ok, cool, thanks. It was getting a little annoying, thought I had something loose in there, I'll try it with it turned off.

There are settings in the plr file like they said, but you can also
disable it by choosing a lower level of FF.  From High to Medium(or whatever
it is below High) in the drop-down menu box on the FF page.  And there
probably is a slider on the two FF pages that might adjust that.  But
be-warned.  I messed with those sliders once and never got it right again.
Catalog your settings before you begin.

The slider is for the overall force level, the "low/medium/high"
settings control the gee-whiz effects.  Keep the slider the same as you
have it, but set the effects level to low or off, and this should get
rid of the vibration effects without changing anything else.
