I just got the Magic Wave PCI w/Aureal Vortex 3d sound card. Runs fine
if I boot to dos(approving each relevant line in config/autoexec), but
locks up when i try to run N2 and Indycar from win95. Also, F1RS locks
up w/invalid page fault every time i try to run. Cart Precision Racing
runs great(and sounds great). Some improvement in framerate due to
digital gameport :-)

I have the MagicWave and it hasn't given me an page faults or crashes
(just so you know that it's not the MagicWave causing the problem).
The only problem I get is with F1RS and the 3D sound patch.
Positional audio is present, but theres stuttering shifting betwen the
right and left speakers (patch issue).

Install the latest drivers from Aureal, defrag your HD, reinstall
directX5, check for IRQ and memory range conflicts. That's where I
would start anyway.
