GTR2002 & ActLabs Shifter

by bertr » Sun, 26 Jan 2003 11:24:06

One of the nice surprises in the NR2003 Demo is that my Act Labs GPL USB
Shifter finally works perfectly in that sim.  Prior to this, I couldn't
get it working in N4 or NR2002.  However,  I did get it to work in GPL
and in F1 2002 (as I recall), but I still put it aside.

Now that GTR2002 is here, I think that the shifter would lend itself
perfectly to it.  The trouble is that I can't remember how to activate
it in F12002 (or now GTR2002).  Can anyone point me in the right
direction?  What do I need to do within GTR2002 to activate the
Shifter.  It's already recognized in Windows 98SE's Control Panel.

FYI, my controller set-up is as follows:

ID#1: MOMO Racing Wheel
ID#2: Act Labs USB Shifter
ID#3: TSW Pedals

Any help would be appreciated.

Easy Answer -- Start the Act Labs Shifter Utility, and GTR2002 automatically
detects it - DUH!

I forgot about starting the utility because NR2003 worked without the
utility even being activated.  I told you that it was awhile since I used
the shifter!

Sorry to bother you guys......  <sheepish grin>
