programmable pedals for Madden ?

by j.. » Thu, 04 Jan 2007 14:13:56

Hi I am curious if there are any pedals that come with the steering
wheel sets that can basically be programmed to be the equivalent of
right and left movements of an analog controller on a gamepad.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi John,

if you leave the wheel plugged in (say, the momo DFP or some similar usb
wheel) and your game supports multiple controllers (most modern
simracing titles do, don't know about football / soccer games), you
should be able to use the pedals as control axes in the game.

Make sure to set your racing wheel to "split axis" mode as opposed to
"combined axis", but I'm not sure if that would be strictly necessary as
it's likely impossible for players to move to the left *and* right at
the same time ;-)

HTH, uwe

Why would you want pedals to do this? unless you are thinking of using
them as rudders in a flight sim? in which case there are plenty of
rudder type pedals for sale (eg: Cheetah)
