F1RS car setup utility

I downloaded this gizmo yesterday, tried it and was slightly puzzled by the
results.

It asks for your rebound and spring settings, then gives you the needed
front and rear ARB setting PLUS, and this is confusing, NEW rebound and bump
settings.

The puzzling part is, if I give new rebounds on my setup, won't that mean
the ARBs are wrong with the values this utility produces, plus the values
giving are different for left and right.

I got the following result:

left rear rebound 85%
left rear bump 85%
right rear rebound 94.9166%
left rear bump 94.9166%

Could it be the programmer made a mistake and it should be the top 2 are for
rebound and the bottom 2 are for bump?

For clarity, this utility is to produce a stable car, no severe
over/understeer.

Is it possible you put the same amount of rebound and bump in the fronts (on the
left
side : rebound = bump and the right side: rebound = bump)????

If it's the case, you need a crash course on the effects of dampers settings.

Try a ratio of 1.5:1 up to 3:1 in favour of rebound vs bump for each independant
wheel.

Good luck, Eric
