Sounds like a no-win situation. Don't you lose rating points if you quit a
race before it's over?

Only if you actually start the race, and only if there's four (a
rediculously low number) or more cars that start the race.

Yeah it sucks, no-win situation. You can also quit before qualification and
you won't loose any point.

Exactly. I've said it on the other NG. N4 has the best multiplayer
implementation ever (of course it has little flaws, but they can be
corrected), the problem rise with the gamer abuses. So the balance makes
for a sucky online racing at the moment except for leagues.

Racing = hard
N4 = realistic
N4 = hard

For me, This is the key issue in N4 online Eldred!! You never know until
that green flag drops. Then if you are hit you get an IC just as if you were
the culprit and not another!! Then you have another "N4 WreckFest!"

Thank you Larry for the only other movie reference in this thread. Another
that came to mind was that excellent Burt Reynolds (ahem) vehicle
'Cannonball Run'.....
The fact that some nutters re-live this fantasy every
year bbbbbby driving around Europe like demons should warn us all about
going to a pick-up race at say, Atlanta in N4..
they're out there..and they WILL err ... turn up! jv
