The problem is with N4, of course you've got excellent built in mulitplay,
just point, click, and your off to the races . Plus Nascar Racing is much
more popular here in the states, so there are many, many more copies of N4
out there. GPL however, is harder to learn to drive, you have to do some
research to find the online community, download the software (vroc), in
order to really get started with online racing. Plus there are much fewer
copies.
No doubt the quality of the avg racer online with GPL is going to be
considerably better than the quality of the avg racer in N4. Plus in N4 cars
tend to run much closer together for longer periods of time. And then you
have all these folks that don;t really care about good online races in N4,
and sign on just to create havock for kicks, because it is so easy to do.
My advice to anyone that wants to race N4 online semi-seriously, is to seek
out some of the good online N4 leagues, get hooked up with 1 or 2 of them,
and practice, practice, practice. Online racing with N4 can be very
exciting.
