That's cute Peter. Really. Clever too. I'm glad you appreciate the efforts
of a liar.

Lying on the internet. Wow. That takes courage.

How can anyone have grown so bitter over such a great sim and the people
who enjoy it?

Crazy world.

I didn't lie because I couldn't even remember which of the several GPL
critics had made the Pod comment, so it wasn't aimed at anyone in
particular. You were merely happened to place yourself under the falling
bullet... oh, hang on... wrong NG for falling bullets. The original comment
was -- as I've already said -- an attempt to counteract the predictable
responses after I'd mentioned the ecstasy and agony of online GPL. It was,
if anything, a jibe at a mindset, not an individual. Still, if the caps fits...

Anyway, the weekend's near. I'm looking forward to another few hours of
cheap rate phone calls and some online e***ment. I might even stop
looking at the *** sites and drive GPL for a while.

Jeez, don't take yourself so seriously.

Did you see that little squiggle at the end of my post? it's called a
smiley. It indicates a smile.

You ever heard of irony? or a sense of humour? you ought to try it
one day, it's great for reducing stress levels.

8-) <<<<<<<(Clue)<<<<<< THIS IS ANOTHER SMILEY.

I don't give a sh*it enough about either to feel anything at all, let alone
bitter.

And since I've said a dozen times it's an excellent sim..............

You'll need to :-)

I actually thought about you and Girl's Blouse (Andy McP) while
organising it, since you're both well known here and in the UK. We had
8 people, with people coming from Scotland, Holland and all over
England. We almost had Achim Trensz from Spain but he couldn't make it
at the last minute.

This is the second one we've had and both have been excellent. It's a
long drive down from Scotland but well worth it. We hope to repeat it
sometime soon, so I'll give you a shout. About 8-12 is a comfortable
size, but people always drop out so a starting "pool" of 16-20 maybe
ideal.

Cheers!
John

Where is here? are you not in the UK?
And I'm not sure I like the fact I'm well known, well known for what
I ask myself!

8-)

Definitely let me know about the next one, I'll make every effort to
attend, it sounds like fun....
