    Hi I'm looking for the URL for the GPL Movies website.  I'm not
referring to the Legends-central section.  I'm going to do a presentation in
my film studies class and need some examples. (specifically the S.Dobie
movie in Divx format :)

I've made three car cams that give that 'dynamic' feel that sdobie had
in his excellent movie.

I think the reason they work so well in his movie is that there's no
fixed point in the foreground. By making the camera 'float' around
without constantly seeing a wheel or the engine cover or whatever at the
bottom of the screen, the eye seems to be fooled into thinking the
camera isn't attached to anything and hence makes for a more dynamic
view of the racing.

since there was a question sometime ago about the famous Gpl2Avi program
I'll get the occasion and respond here about it.
The author of the program (great guy and friend) unfortunatelly doesn't
speak english so he ask me to take care the diffusion of the program out of
italy.
The GPL2AVI proggy will work from inside GPL making any replay, a movie with
the codec, framerate, slow/fast motion (-4x to +4x), dimensions you decide
at the start ecc ecc. Still to come the V 1.6 with a bit more tricks and
stuff :o) and a full  english translation. the new version will work with N4
and GPL and it will be also win2000 compatible
