Well from the screenshots I've seen it looks pants. What have they done to the
graphics? The detail from the cars looks a lot lower and from a preview I read
(erm...PLAY or OPSM I think) the physics and crash models are rubbish.

I guess I'll have to reserve final judgement until I've had a go on it though.

Kev,

We have just got the very latest version in from VS over the weekend
and it has improved 100% from what we had last week. We have been
testing it most of this morning and it now plays much better than
F1'97 ever did.

We have just started testing the two player split screen mode and the
draw distance is much better than F1 '97 and it is playable (we
haven't tested the 2x Playstation link mode yet).

As for the graphics - wait till you have seen it running then say what
you think about it :-)

Hi Paul,

Hurrah! A company that actually reads the newsgroups.

I'm glad to hear it's improved since the early (ish) screenshots in the
popular PSX press.
How do you playtest a game then? Is it all done in house or do you send it out
to PSX owners (I always fill in that card that comes with the game but never
get any news etc. Always ***y Bank of Scotland or Goldfish stuff!!)

So how about sending me a copy to try then :)
Oh yeah, and any news on G-Police 2?

Well I have been off the news groups for a while, but I am back now so
expect a lot more news from me about Psygnosis games.

All of our testing is done in-house by our QA department so I won't be
able to send you any copies out for testing, sorry.

Since I posted this morning we have now tested the link up mode and it
works very well in Grand Prix mode. I feel that we have addressed at
least 99% of the issues that were raised by customers with F1 '97.

As for G-Police 2 - it is still in production and when I have some
news about the game I will post it on here. If you have any questions
in the mean time then e-mail me and I will try and answer them for
you.

Nice one Ciril.  BTW, how many cars are on the circuit in link mode.  All 26 or
just the player drivers ?

Are PSY going to try and do a link-battle mode for GPolice 2.  Just wondering.

When in 1 Player + Link mode you get yourself, your 2nd Playstation
player and all the other drivers computer controlled - happy now ???
:-))

G-Police 2 - I don't have any details yet - when I do i'll post them
for you.
