Rally Championship will support dual controllers :)

I e-mailed Danny Hartley at Magnetic Fields (he's a programmer) about
support for two controllers at once - I use my TSW2 pedals on Joy-2 with an
ACT Labs Force RS USB wheel on Joy-1.

Although it was not in the plans for them to support this, Danny worked it
in at the last minute!  That's my idea of a company that is out to make
their customers happy.  My hat's off to Magnetic Fields !

Also - I asked him about support for accelerator and brakes on seperate
axis.  He says this will be supported as well.  They call it "independant
pedals".  Oh, and BTW if you didn't know, RC will support Force Feedback as
well.  I'm really looking forward to this one :)

ARE YOU GOING
TO RACE WITH WHEEL AND JOYSTICK?

Supporting both really does not make any sense

AND a USB wheel doesn't live on a joy port anyway

READ the post!  The key is Joy-1 and Joy-2.  GPL does it.  It does make
sense for those who have pedals that they want to use on the game port and
wheel on either USB or Serial...

Wow terrific, I didn't know Rally Champ had FF, good to hear they
added good controller support, looking forward to it as well.

Seeyas on the track.

I agree.

A Rally simulator can't be realistic if it doesn't support dual-axis
controllers.  Rally drivers are the master in trail-braking, heel&toe, using
their feet like a ballet while controlling the car.  I really do wish that
RC will portray this, since nobody really has told ANYBODY about the
physics.  Nobody knows, nadda.  No review, no preview that's not a hidden
press release.
