Which car set ?  What do you do with it after you download it ?  Some of
the car sets are ZIP files, some are self extracting ZIP etc.   Without this
information, I don't think anyone can help you.  /TomH

How about some more info, David, how did you try to install the set?  Go
through it step by step.

>>First of all I took the existing cars made a new file and called it

"96Cars".   I downloaded the car set, inzipped the file, and moved it to the
"cars" file in Nascar 2.  I could put the cars from the list to the right
for the race entries, clicked on save, the game would not work.  When I went
back the listings all the cars/drivers were on the left side again.  I
repeated the process a few times tried different things a few times.  But
just could not get it to work.
Hope that answers sime questions, thank you for your responses.

Hi David
I'll take a shot at this.  I think your driver list is probably
read-only & thats why your changes won't take.  Try making a new list,
name it, & put your drivers onto the right side.  Hit save when your
done & try it.

Hope this helps ya!

When you say the game would not work, I need more detail.  What sort of
message did it give you?  Sound like you are not saving the drivers list
properly.  If you can see the cars in the driver info menu, you obviously
have them in the right spot.  Sometimes if I wipe out my cars file, and try
to put new cars in, it brings up a message could not find *.* car.  I just
put what cars I wanted into the list and then resaved under the same name.
Also what do you mean by not working, will it not let you play the game at
all or what?  Sorry, but the little details can be what is holding you back.
Now that I think of it, did you try to resume a season?  Try this:  Make a
new drivers list, save it under a completely different name, and go to quick
race, and use that drivers list.  See if it works.  If you tried to resume a
season, it is looking for a different drivers list, and might not work.
