The only reliable store in Brisbane has guaranteed that they will be
selling GP2 after delivery around lunch time on Monday (22/7). I was
starting to get really pissed as I checked out some of the "bigger"
chains.
Here are some of the replies
Games r us "I think someone said it would be late August or early
September, would you like to place an order ?" - reply "No F*&$ off".
Eggheads "Umm, I think its early August" - reply "Can you check?"
reply "We havn't had many people asking" ME "Oh OK, but can you
check?" Egghead(s)"Give me your number and I'll give you a call" ME "I
would'nt like to put you out, I'll go somewhere else"
Toyworld "It must be soon because the rep was here yesterday and was
asking if he could put some posters up." ME"you didn't get a release
date?" Toywold" No I didn't think to ask, I suppose I should have
hey!?" ME "Yeh, it would have been a good idea, bye"
MetroSoft (small local store) "It's going to be here Monday, i just
check about an hour ago, sounds like it is going to be cool" ME "Are
you 99% sure?" MS "Yep, do you want me to give you a call as soon as
we get it in and priced?" ME"You bet"
Who needs these socalled big chain stores, they only appeasr to be in
it for the Money and show no interests in the products themselves!!!!
Later,
Anthony.
PS anyone know what the score is with the US/Euopean versions, which
one will we be getting in Aus.
