Looking for PCMCIA game card

Looking for PCMCIA game card

As my employer has just provided me with a 133MHz Pentium
portable machine I'm now looking to get GP2 running on it
for those long business trips :-)

Expansion is via PCMCIA. Does anyone know of any PCMCIA
cards which provide a game port ?

( My next challenge will be buiding a portable steering
wheel and pedal set. I couldn't go back to keys since
I built my 'home' version )

This is a problem for anyone with a notebook, which I assumed could only be
solved with a port replicator or docking station. By shear coincidence,
today I was going through old email and came across a note from a company
specialising in notebook upgrades, and there, in the list, was a PCMCIA
game card! I'll mail the list to you. Let me know whether it turns out to
be what we need.

New Media has a brand new PCMCIA game port card called the "Basics".  They
are just beginning to ship to distributors so it may take a while to get
one.  However, it appears to be both DOS and Win95 compatible and, best of
all, the info on New Media's web page (www.newmediacorp.com) states that
when put into the Type 2 slot the card will not interfere (i.e., cover up)
the other slot and, therefore, you can use your modem at the same time to
play on the net or against another modem player

Don't look any further!!! Check out New Media's BASICS Gameport PC
Card!  It's backordered for later this week, but can be ordered
through Insight, Computer Discount Warehouse, or Mobile Planet.  Check
the New Media web site at:

DB15 gameport right on the PC Card!  I can't wait!
