If you GPL racers with fast lap times ie., 1.10 or less are doing so because
your back ends are*** out throughout the whole corner then I've got one
thing to say -- this simulation is not simulating real 1960's car physics.

I've watched enough 60's F1 footage to know that no racer from that era
ever hung their tails out around a fast corner.  Four wheel drift with
opposite lock was more common  -  a full blown sideways profile was more
common if a racer had over done it.

dude when they say they hang out the back end going through a corner that
means they are on the limit and their steering wheel is turning the opposite
way.

The fast times are not set with the tail wagging around like a dog
taking a fancy to your mother-in-law's leg. You can certainly hang the
tail end out if you like, but it is a slower way around the track.

Exactly as it is in GPL in my experience.

Cheers!

If you hate this thing so much, why don't you just shut up and let the guys
who enjoy it do so? Nobody here, as far as I know, is qualified to comment
on the realism of the physics model....unless we have Stirling Moss reading
this NG.

Next you're going to say that GP2 isn't a simulation, because there's no
chance of being maimed or killed.

Scott Moore

Still doing N2 because I can't make GPL work....   :-(
