Got mine last December, just waiting to run the 300 horses in then having
the 330 or 340 upgrade.

RAS's very own Vin Diesel :)

Will you really notice those extra 30-40?

300 seems quite a lot really. Methinks you are turning into a horsepower
freak Mr.Cole :)

A friend of mine at work was so enthused he took us on a 2 hour
lunchbreak to stop by the dealership and put his name on the list.
He's number 77 fullfilling at 6 cars per month ;)

So I anticipate another long lunch in about a year...

I agree. But the difference between $45,000 and $92,500 is likely
something my wife would notice. She won't even let me buy a Ferarri
when we win the lottory - "No cars that cost more than a house!"

(The obvious idea to buy a bigger house first has already
been overruled ;)

Ouch...

I never said I could *afford* the flipping thing - I just prefer it.
<g>
Since I don't have the money, I've never seriously considered getting one.  I
didn't realize the Esprit was that much more expensive... :-(

No soul... Anyway you aren't even allowed to buy Alfas in the US. Though
there are some bizarre laws that allow you to import them if you have owned
them in Europe for long enough.

You see Alfas haven't been through the stringent US crash tests, the things
cars had to go through before the manufacturers invented SUVs (which are
classified as trucks which don't seem to have any tests at all!)
