system through VROC ? I though this could not be done with GPL, but someone
has recently suggested to me that it can. Anyone know how and if, confirm or
otherwise ?

One of the leagues I race in does a two race session, although we use
an IP address instead of going through VROC. At the end of one race,
we stay connected to the server while the "admin" person changes the
server to the next track. I don't know the technical details though.
If no one else has an answer that specifically covers the VROC
situation, let me know and I'll ask our admin guy.

It is possible to have more than one server hosting on the same
connection (IP address) by assigning different ports, and when you
consider that you can host a full field with a P200/64Mb RAM (dedicated
host) I'd have to say that although it may be possible, it would be much
more practical to just use two servers ;-)

Um,
I think "simultaneously" and "concurrently" mean the same thing in
this context ;-). But you're point is right, the original poster was
looking for running two instances "simultaneously," not
"consecutively."
