Thx for the response. I've already been to that site and done most/all the
things you listed below. I was looking  more specifically for something on
what the rules should be set to in Tiny so as to be the most secure as
possible and still allow the internet to be fully functional. Things like
this.

Loopback
DNS
Outgoing ICMP Request
Incoming ICMP Request (I have denied this access)
Local Security System Service (UDP)
Local Security System Sevice (TCP)
Windows Logon Application (LDAP)
Microsoft-DS (what is this?)
Services Application (UDP/TCP)
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services (I have denied this access)

All of the above are listed and loading before I even use any internet
application like IE. What does exactly what  and how I should set the
filters is what I want to know. Local Security I know is the MS Firewall.
But, not sure how I should tell the others what rules to use.

STP, Here are some good links with helping on Tiny Firewall rules.
I would maybe suggest that you save these pages (not many) for further
reference, as I have found that they are not up all the time. They were up
at the time of this post.

http://members.home.net/zyklon/tpf.html    I think that this site will be
the most help for you.

http://www.legolas.ca:8080/sec2.html       Another pretty good one.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tinyfirewall/  And the Yahoo one, which I'm
sure you know about.

Heh, I think the XP Help Assistant will help you here, opps you probably
disabled that. :-)

I don't know if this Help Assistant is available in the Home Edition or not.
All XP users are going to need a course in "System Administration". Win2k
Pro books should be found at a markdown in most major metropolitan areas by
now (They can be expensive) and should be of some help for XP.

OK, thx for the help Redline. I've saved this post to disk for future
reference.

Um yes, I did. I don't want to allow anyone to be able to connect to my
computer through remote assistance.

not.

Yes, it is.

I'll look for one, depends on the price though.
