All graphics settings on max. Replays on. No sound tweak down. 22 cars...

SMOOTH AS SILK through the first corner!

All on my brand new PII 233 (32MB SDRAM, UDMA/33 HD, 3Dfx).

Best buy I ever made!

one detail............... I am running F1RS on a Creative labs 12meg Voodoo2
board. I use to run F1RS on my old Monster3d but wait till you see it on the

What are the obvious differences?  Is it purely speed, or do you get higher
resolution, or improved visual effects?

Cheers,

Steve.

I'm running PII 300 running at 338mhz (75mhz bus X 4.5),128mb 10ns SDRAM,
Seagate Barracuda SCSI, Matrox Millenium soon to be an 8mb AGP (haven't
decided between nVidia or Permidia), Diamond Monster 3DFX (soon to be
VooDoo2), T2 wheel and pedals.........All Graphics ON, replays on, no sound
tweak, all cars, smooth as silk, and every other program on my machine flies
as well!  And this is my home system just for playing around on. My wife
also has 233mmx w/64mb SDRAM, 3DFX (she likes Frogger), and I've got them
networked in my house with Cat5 in my walls to play network games at home
(Quake, Q2, CART, F1RS).

just have to brag every now and then......

Ditto, but I got the latest chip - is it FAST>>>>>>>>>> plus a 6.4 gig
hd but [partitioned down to 512MB coz that makes the clusters smaller,
conserves space and speeds up disk read/writes. Also put the Orchid 3D
card on
