Wrong. Yes the readme says that, but if you spend $7.95 for the Metabyte Wicked
GL drivers and copy the Opengl32.dll file into the MOHAA file, it will run just
fine. At least it does on my PIII 550.

Don't know why the readme says that; it's misleading a lot of folks.

Remembering the stern warning in MSCFS2 about 3DFX vidcards which run that
sim quite well.

The fix for that game is very simple, so simple in fact that EA could easily
have implemented it in the game with a few minutes extra work. All you have
to do is take the wicked3D gl .dll and add an extension to the shortcut to
run the game using the opengl32.dll. Problem solved, all movies play and all
graphical erros solved.

There is a thriving community creating drivers for the Voodoo cards still,
including the X3DFX guys, and the cards will be around for some years to
come. There isn't a card on the market yet that can do FSAA better than hte
V5... When the GF4 hits the streets we may see some competition, but the GF4
is going to be using 3DFX designs and tech....

I have 2 Amigas and 1 ST in the cupboard complete with monitors, printers,
scanner and boxes of games.... I don't know whether to hang onto them until
they become antiques or flog them for a few quid to makes some space.

Well, I certainly did.  Nvidia has provided me with a notebook which gives
me substantially better framerates and beautiful visuals in GPL and F1-2001
than the current ATI chips.  Nobody else is even a player in the notebook
market.  OK, notebook simmers are a minority, but my hat's off to Nvidia for
this one.

Yep, and my dumb ***will probably contribute again when the GF4 comes out.
I'll give em about 3 months to get the drivers stabilized.

complete st?  check at some audio sites.... if you want to sell them....
many garage musicians still use the st as their main sequencing computer for
midi because they swear the timing is still better with it than any newer
computers.

I remember the first lan event I saw...a local user group got a bunch of
ST's together at a mall and tried to get a multiplayer going with midi
patches...Us Commodore users just laughed and went back to our serial
patched head to head machines...
ahh the good ol days.
