Why d'you ask?

You're surely not suggesting that it's imm***of them to be making such a
profit?  They name their price -it's down the customer to decide if it's too
high or not.

Exactly.

It's like, err, I dunno, err, Ferrari.  I'm sure they make a mint - but who

I can guarantee you that GM makes more money on every SUV they sell than
Ferrari does on each 550, 360, etc. that THEY sell. The reason Ferraris
are expensive is that they are made from very high quality (and high
cost) materials by expert craftsmen. SUVs are expensive because everybody
wants one.

plz don't say everyone.... the trophy hunting yuppies living in town that
needs some gas guzzling huge assed weapon so's they can yack on their cell
phones and run over anybody not paying attention to their gas guzzling huge
assed weapon trophy,  they're the freaks that want one...errr....3 or 4 in
the family.....

yes, i belong to that ever growing group of folk with the mission of keying
or some other prank to these yuppie mobiles that dare to put some save the
earth or other environmental sticker on their vehicle.  if they're proud of
their waste, we don't bother them.  if they're  hippocrites, they will soon
be sorry.

Nope, Haven't gone to the dark side. In fact just bought a 5500 a few months
ago. I wanted features I could use today, not features that might be used
tomorrow. got a great price too!
