Nascar: Qual times vs. Race times

I saw where some people posted how to adjust the Rels and BLAP values
to influence race and qualifying times for ICR.  Could someone please
tell how to adjust these values for Nascar Racing?  Or is it basically the
same as ICR?  Thanks for any help.
