Very well put John. Well, except for that last line. That's something I do
not wish to see.

LOL Don, how true it seems.  Actually I think Mr Wilshe may be biased just a
bit, as he had a major difference of opinion with some of the major guys at
OLR which happens to host the PWF stuff...

I happen to think both Mods will be great.  All of them seem to be a big
boost to the sim racing community, so why try to hinder either one?

An outstanding posting John :)

It wasn't my intention to suggest rivalry - I said that no single group
will be decisive for the future of N2k3 because there are so many
supporting this sim now.

Admittedly, I personally expect more from The Pits and Noonan, because
they have a proven record of providing the community with great stuff.

And Jan's new pics aren't looking bad either :)

taking.

And there's nothing wrong with friendly competition...

Having said that, the rivalry doesn't appear quite so friendly when you find
that a large chunk of one's work has been used without proper
acknowledgement.

However, I will readily acknowledge that PWF have made some excellent
contributions to the sim community.

Regards

Dave Noonan

A sip maybe.  Either that or the surgeon would be giving you
my liver to return with the empties. :-)
Now if you bring a donor with the beer I'm not sure which would
be better. Danish, German or English.(donors that is) :-)

It seems a shot has been fired over the bow of PWF!

Hehe, well said :)

Still, another thing any modder should be able to hope for, is getting
proper credit when his work is used elsewhere :)

But giving and getting proper credit
are nice habits anyway, aren't they :)

It's not that it's bad.  It's just the future for NR2003.

Agreed.  I just think from a quality-control standpoint, PWF is where it's
at.
