:  And its cars are all looked like just stick on the ground exactly parallel,
: no suspension works at all in every screen shots, like Ubi F1. Looks
: unnatural.

Well, I will cut them some slack here.  The suspension travel in modern F1
cars is minimal and you rarely see it, except in those special
agonizingly-slow RTL replays of nothing happening.

Is this the same F1 2000 I saw!?!!

I asn't too impressed to be honest.....
..lots of detail as we have come to expect from EA, which is what I love
about them but it just lacks something.....

Why has the driver in the '99 Jordan a cross between Wurz, and Fisichella's
helmet?
Even if they had Fisi it would be outdaetd ut there did the Wurz part come
from?

And whats withthe size ofthe heads!?!?!

On the other hand from the outside view you could actually see the cars
behind in the mirrors and it had a 3d looking wheel but although the detail
is there, it just went wrong somewere along the way, i think....

Although I'll take it all back if EA come up with the phsysics
promised......
.....since I'm jusdging that on Newmann Haas and Adretti Racing..... brill
GFX but lacking in any realism.

Come on EA..prove me wrong!

Agreed, I was just about to post something identical to your post, ea sports
knows how to advertise, knows how to make graphix, but just can't stop
making arcadish games.

OK, you may be right. I have never played SCGT, so I can't comment on that
game.

My biggest gripe with SCGT is the AI.  They hunt laterally to try and
regain the racing line which causes severe oversteer and many many
spinouts.    Well I mean my biggest gripe is the multiplayer.  Did it
once with one other driver and my cable modem hosting and receiving and
it was jerky jerky jerky.

I love the expansions that many users are creating.  Mucho enjoyment

NASCAR Revolution was a mistake.  But you cant say EA Sports last racing sim
wasn't.  SBK is one of the best bike sims and totaly raised the bar with it's
release.  Don't decide before the release.  EA is full of supprises.

The AI certainly could do with a lot of tweaking. Yes, the AI cars
sometimes make mistakes, adding a realistic touch to the game, but
their racing always seems so linear. Do a few tracks with a full grid
in Germany to see what I mean.

Unlucky Europeans for having Mr. Walker? My friend... you're only
jelous!

We need more sims with non-stop commentary like F1 97 had, ESPECIALLY
from Murray!

Well, until they start piping Murray's commentary into Eddie Irvine's
helmet on race day, I can also live without it...

My friend (and we are all friends here at r.a.s.), I believe
you misunderstand me.  I was making a reference to the dual versions
of EA Sports' FIFA 2000.  While Europe gets the commentary of John
Motson and Gary Lineker, North America is blessed with the pearls of
US Women's World Cup star Julie Foudy.  Lucky us.

All sarcasm aside now, I can hardly bear watching a GP on TV
without Murray.

Here's where I disagree with you.  Much as I love Murray, the
commentary in the F1 series is a very long way from being wanted.

He simply used SOS as another example of  sim having potential and
ultimately being a let down. SOS has fab graphics also but it's a piece of
garbage otherwise.

Yeah, who would have thought they would get hammered for NASCAR Revolting and
then release NASCAR Revolting SE and have it be just as bad as the original?

Full of surprises.
