GP2 and Sound Blaster PCI64

I'm looking at buying a new sound card and am considering
purchasing
the Sound Blaster PCI 64. My favourite game is Grand Prix II,
however,
so I would like to know if anyone has had success running GP2
with
this particular sound card.

Many thanks, Roland.

From what I've heard, you cannot use a PCI sound card in DOS.
Dunno why that would be, but since GP2 is a DOS game....

ISA or PCI doesn't matter! What's important is the driver support
in DOS. The Terratec PCI sound card I looked at today has DOS support.

I have the "Creative" Sound Blaster PCI 64, GP2 works fine from a dos box
within Win95
(I say creative as the card is really a Ensonic, the drivers are a half ass
conversion
something's say creative others still say Ensonic.)

I will say this as well....The Direct Sound drivers are yet to be certified

And the only game that works with 3D sound is so far incoming...
which is a pisser as
MTM2 and CPR only work in stereo.

Well I have one and it has worked from me in all the games I have DOS
or Win95. It like ANY sound card needs drivers to operate, and the
PCI64 has DOS drivers included.
