Whats with Martinsville? Even with a rendition card with utilizing DMA on a
P166 frame rates are just about unplayable !

Something funny in the grandstand graphics and textures.  If you turn off
the grandstands, the thing is playable again.  Papy might be fixing this -
I know that they are aware of it.

There have been some "mixed" signal from Papyrus on this.  They have
said they are no plans for a Rendition patch.  Was this in reference to
the request for anti-aliasing?  Or was it a reference to the fact that
they aren't fixing any of the graphics?  I sure hope it's not the
latter.

The only thing confirmed by Jim (in reference to the Rendition version and
the upcoming patch) was that they would be adding a command line option to
force the use of 4-bit textures.
