Suzuka!

...who would -love- to see a finished Suzuka (and a banked Monza...8^)...) and who
feels embarassed every time some bonehead pulls a stunt like this. Might be a
Canadian thing...

Suzuka!

Why is it pointless, David? Everyone knows that the tracks at that
French website are pirated. A finished Suzuka from you would be
delicous!!! Or did you want to charge money for it? In that case the
premature posting on that website would indeed be very annoying for you...

Thanks for the excellent Imola rendition, btw. :)

Suzuka!

Hi David,

I heard someone was working on Suzuka, but didn't know it was you.  Once I saw
all the converted tracks posted, I thought something was fishy.  I will not
unzip, nor install this pirated copy of Suzuka on the YouBeTheBoss server.  It
will be worth the wait for the real thing.

Jason.

Indubitably! We (I, at least) love your work! Imola is fantastic. Don't be
discouraged by the idiots!

Dear David (and all the r.a.s),

you wrote about the "French Pits"' copyright violation:

I do really hope three things:

1) This kind of copyright violations should be prevented. Did you ask
   the web site provider already?

2) We all in r.a.s. should NOT use this kind of material. And we
should exclude all the pages and persons connected with copyright
   violations.

3) And last but not least: I do really hope that you will not quit
making your utterly excellent work for the GPL community!

Many thanks for the latest gem, the Imola track!

I have a Suzuka track I run in N3, though it is an older N2 track. It
is complete including bulidings, background, etc. Can't remember where I
found it at, though.

Let it go Dave, rifraf like that is not worth the time of day.

If you want to keep releasing 3rd Party add-ons for games (be it as freeware
or commercially), you're going to have to focus your energy on the people
who actually appreciate what you're doing. They are many.

I think it's no exaggeration to say everyone here is prepared to patiently
wait for you to declare the track finished to aquire and use it.

NO, David! NO!
Your Suzuka is NOT "rendered pointless" by this person!

If you can complete it in the same manner as O-ring, Brands and Imola, do
you really think that anyomne would even be bothered looking at what is on
this French site?

Please don't let this idiot deter you from your projects.

Trying to make an example of them?  Violate copyrights and you cut off the
supply?  I'll be disappointed to not have Suzuka, but I can't say this
sounds like a bad idea.  It's certainly fair game.  I just hope Suzuka
arrives when and if the French Pits finally backs down.  Let's not blame
Dave, and start blaming the French Pits for taking Suzuka away from us.

You have excellent taste, by the way.  Suzuka and Imola were my GP2
favorites.

You know what... maybe a better alternative would be to have a
letter-writing campaign to this French Pits site, just to register our
extreme displeasure with them.  Also a copy forwarded to their ISP may
not hurt either.  Comments or suggestions?

ROTFLOL.

Dave's work has nothing to do with Sierra. Just blows their credibility
even further away.

maybe dave should try and find out how the french pits got it....
And blaming them for not getting suzuka?.....in the end it is dave not
giving/selling us the track, and him alone.....
