So they are on track for that date then? If so thats cool. I was figuring
that it would be next fall since thats when Ratbag usally releases their
stuff.  I must say I'll buy Sprints2 before NR2003, but that has more to do
with what the games are based on more than anything.

Don my only comment on this is the fact that this seems to be more about
marketing Ratbag products than doing an actual impartial review.  I can
understand helping Ratbag but if the review is biased from the start it
offers little to the sim community IMHO.

Marketing is a double edge sword.. Its all about educating the public about
the
game.   If the reviewer writes a bad reviews than its useless for the
public.  We
want the review to be spot on!   Now if you hate dirt racing you might not
be  the
best person to objectively review a dirt game.. maybe not fully appreciate
it or
if you are F1, GPL, IRL and dont like other games.   The reviewer must i
believe
love motorsports and see the value of the product.  All good points you made
and
Im not talking about you.  Just reviewers in general.

Now Sales is totally biased reporting as its all about selling!!

My point was more you are acting as a marketing group for Ratbag and thus
these are not impartial review requests.

<snip>

No, Don a bad review is useful in that it warns the public of a bad product,
a review done badly is something different!

In other words you want some one to write a positive review
Also. it is Marketing's job to "sell" the product, put a positive spin on
everything regarding the product and do damage control when the shit hits
the fan.
You should have been forthright and said you are looking for someone to
write a positive review even if they think it stinks! You're not fooling us
Don.

Edward:

Bad can be interpreted in 2 ways..     A bad reviewer that cant do a good
job from lack of
understanding, prejudcie, etc and a bad review on the product that deserves
it..
there is a difference.

We always hope that product we work on being in development, publishing or
the
love of a product are good.. but Edward Shhhhhhhh happens..  Of all the
products
I have promoted I do like:

DTR, DTR2, WOO, WOO2, LEADFOOT, PCE, BURNOUT, and NIRA.  Are real
stinker was IHRA.

Does this help...

"What part of the english language dont you understand."

???  Not a very professional reply for someone trying to market products,
particularly from one that commonly makes posts with grammatical errors and
that are difficult to understand.
Not trying to attack you Don but your tact on this issue has been poor.
