having a 12 line sig - now that really is a waste of bandwidth <g>

I don`t think so, the amount of money brought to the team by winning
the drivers championship must be pretty large.

'orribly off subject ... but nobody seems to be worried.
Damon Hill is a fine driver, but he needs another team and Williams
needs a new driver ... it's simply that the party is over. Hill
reminds me of Stirling Moss (a British F1 champion from way back) who,
like Hill, had a delightful rhythm (you drifted through most corners
with reverse lock in those days), but when Moss got rattled and things
were not going his way, he could become a mess. So it is with
Verstappen also ... great start to this season but as his car failed
to perform, so his own performance drifted off.
...snip...
It's all rumour ... Frentzen is well respected, but I'd like to see
Verstappen in a Williams (in spite of his inexperience).
...snip...
Personally, I would be delighted to see another top grade engine
manufacturer supporting F1 ... and I really can't see where Williams
would find a decent British developed and manufactured engine.
Mmmm ... with the cost of running an F1 team these days, anyone who is
willing to compete is doing us fans a favour. A reliable Ferrari and
a resurgent Bennetton could have Williams under pressure next season
.. and still with the Renault engine

Obviously you consider the usual nettiquette recomendation of four lines
does not apply to you, but the recomendation that posts be on topic in
the groups to which they are posted, should be applied by others in this
thread.
